Four Minutes of Undiluted Truth on Mainstream TV

The last thing you’d ever expect to hear on a mainstream news channel, is the truth. But—strange as it might seem—that’s exactly what happened on Wednesday night on the Tucker Carlson Show.

Carlson interviewed veteran journalist Glenn Greenwald in a 4-minute segment that provided the best ‘easy-to-understand’ summary of the Ukraine War you’ll hear anywhere. And what was so shocking about the interview, was how casually both men veered onto topics that are essential to grasping “How we got to where we are today” but which are entirely banned on all the other cable news channels. You are not allowed to know, for example, that Russia was “lured into the conflict in Ukraine”. That does not fit the script that has been passed-along from the Biden State Department to their lapdogs at the cable news stations. You’re also not allowed to know that the US does not fight wars “to spread democracy” or that “the US has no vital interests in Ukraine” or that “Russia is not really our enemy”. All of those topics are verboten. You’re not even allowed to think about these things, which is why– for the most part– they have been completely scrubbed from any-and-all discussion of foreign policy in the corporate media.

That’s what makes the segment with Greenwald such a stunner, because it’s 4 glorious minutes of pure, unvarnished truth delivered from a platform that typically only produces, lies, disinformation and propaganda. That’s why I transcribed the entire interview. Any mistakes are mine. Here it is:

or here —

Tucker Carlson– What bothers me is not so much what Zelensky is doing– there’ alot of tyranny abound the world (and) I don’t brood on it. But the fact that (a) we are paying for it, and (b) our leaders are defending it. I think every American should be upset about that.

Glenn Greenwald– “I think in general, Americans should be very skeptical when the government says ‘We’re going to fight wars on the other side of the world and spend tens of billions of dollars in military aid to spread democracy.’ The US government doesn’t actually care about spreading democracy. Many of its closest allies in the world have always been some of the world’s most despotic regimes like Saudi Arabia and Egypt. All the US government cares about is whether these regimes serve US interests. …If you want to believe the fairy tale that the US government goes to war to spread democracy, then Ukraine is not the place for you. You mentioned the argument that ‘Zelensky is in war, he has to curb liberty’, but go back to 2021, a year before Russia invaded and you’ll find articles where he shut down opposition television stations and shut down opposition political parties (which is) the hallmark of what every tyrant or despot does….and that was true even before Russia invaded.”

Tucker Carlson– I wonder how Republicans can continue to defend this (because) I think you are right; I think our foreign policy is almost always about defending our interests…. But I don’t see our critical interests at stake here, so, what is this about?

Glenn Greenwald– If the US government was honest… they would get rid of this script that we have to go and defend democracy. That is a fairy tale that tries to get Americans to feel better about the fact that we are involved in many, many countries all over the world. That is not the real reason. The only reason to do it is for ‘vital US interests’. The line in Washington for decades was the US has no vital interests in Ukraine. That was Obama’s view, that was the bipartisan view. Why did that change? The only reason is because we saw an opportunity to trap Russia inside Ukraine all based on the view that Russia is our enemy (which is) something only Democrats should believe because they think Russia is to blame for the 2016 election and Hillary’s defeat. But why would Republicans want confrontation with Russia? What American benefits from that except arms manufacturers? …

Tucker Carlson– That’s a really good question, and I haven’t unraveled it. (But) It seems pretty clear that the Biden administration baited Russia into this invasion. You had the Vice President (Kamala Harris) in western Europe days before telling Zelensky to join NATO which, of course, they knew was a red line (for Russia) They wanted this invasion, I think that’s very obvious. Do you think this was all about ‘preparing for war with Russia’?

Glenn Greenwald– If you think Russia is a grave enemy of the United States, then it makes sense to try to lure them into a war that they can’t win, like we got lured into Afghanistan for 20 years or like we lured the Soviet Union into Afghanistan back in the ’70s because it does deplete your enemy. The question is: Why should Russia be seen as our enemy? Both Obama and Trump said there’s no reason to see Russia that way. It has one-fifteenth the size of our military budget. It’s not threatening American borders. Why are we so obsessed with spending tens of billions of dollars to weaken Russia which we could be using here at home to benefit the lives of American citizenswhen Russia is not doing anything to the United States unless you are a crazy ‘resistance’ person who believes they’re the reason Donald Trump won. But if you don’t believe that, what is the rational for this? There is none.”....

 Apocalypse Now

Kiev’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, admitted possible “apocalypse” in Ukraine this winter, saying the following:

“Kiev might lose power, water, and heat supply.”

“The apocalypse might happen…when it’s not possible to live in homes considering the low temperature.”

An estimated 2.8 million residents may have to leave the city if it’s without heat in winter cold.

Bad as things are now, they’ll worsen ahead as Russia more greatly damages or destroys Ukraine’s power grid in pursuit of achieving its SMO aims.

From day-one of its liberating SMO, there was no doubt about its end result — just the path Russia would take to get there.

In his latest nightly propaganda rant, puppet Zelensky admitted what’s become increasingly impossible to conceal.

It’s “impossible” to restore the regime’s power grid to its state before Russia began rendering it inoperable.

Nor will areas Russia liberated from Nazified occupation, and its people wanting to be part of the Russian Federation, be abandoned.

Millions of Ukrainians under Nazified control face the bleak prospect of winter cold without electricity, heat, tap water and sanitation.

Others face rolling blackouts.

Ukrainian troops are suffering most of all.

According to Moscow-based analyst John Helmer from official sources, Russia is eliminating up to around 300 Ukrainian troops daily, up to about 900 others wounded.

As regime rail lines are cut, “medevac operations stopped.”

Supplying regime troops with weapons, munitions and other supplies by rail was disrupted.

Surrender rates are rising.

And this from a Pentagon source:

Regime “field hospitals, triage areas, and ad hoc facilities to handle casualties – schools, for example — will become charnel houses.”

“Along with trenches and dugouts, they’ll be riddled with disease.”

“If they don’t surrender, they’ll literally rot.”

“There will not even be a meager airlift.”

According to NATO standards, a “mass casualty event” is 20 per day.

In Ukraine, it’s multiple times greater, an unsustainable loss of manpower.

And the limited ability of the regime to provide essential to life medical treatment will be catastrophic for affected troops and their families.

And this from a NATO infrastructure expert:

Regime “technicians are…trying, but failing, to make fast repairs to restore power.”

“They’re feeling pressure from (regime) officials” and Ukrainians desperate for relief.

“They’re overworked, underpaid, exhausted, and terrified.”

“The likelihood of making very dangerous technical mistakes is quite high.”

Countless “numbers of appliances, (computers, cell phones) and other electronic devices are being destroyed.”

The regime admitted that its communication systems are increasingly broken.

As sanitation is increasingly rendered inoperable, the risk of spreading diseases, including cholera, is extremely high.

The number of Ukrainian refugees seeking refuge in Poland is increasing significantly.

Most are women and children.

The regime forbids 18 – 60-year-old male youths and men from leaving Ukrainian territory, using them involuntarily as cannon fodder for a lost cause.

And this from a Moscow source:

The “calculus of (Russian) General Patience…is helping Ukronazis destroy themselves.”

That’s how deNazification and demilitarization of the regime is occurring in real time.

Yet according to Biden regime fake news propaganda, Russia seeks to deny Ukraine’s sovereignty and suppress its identity and culture (sic).”

Russia “seeks to undermine all aspects of civilian life in Ukraine (sic).”

Russia “threatened to separate children from families who refuse to enroll their children in schools offering (an) imposed curriculum (sic).”

Russia is using “school(s) (as) military facilities (sic).”

Russian soldiers are using schools “to detain and torture civilians (sic).”

Russia is “forcibly deporting (Ukrainian children to the motherland) for foster placement or adoption (sic).”

“Russian soldiers tortured and killed people on the slightest suspicion they might be helping the Ukrainian military (sic).”

All of the above and similar rubbish is fake news, part of US/Western propaganda war on Russia.

And this WaPo fake news:

Russian “propagandists (are) against million(s) (of) Ukrainian refugees (sic).”

And this perversion of reality:

Russia’s “propaganda campaign (sic) aims to stoke fear and divisions among Ukraine’s critical European allies as they brace for a new influx of refugees this winter (sic).”

Separately on Wednesday, Vladimir Putin said the following via videoconference at Russia’s annual meeting of it Council for Civil Society and Human Rights:

Council members “have been explaining the true reasons and need for (Russia’s) SMO.”

They’re well aware of “aggressive (US/Western) Russophobia, blatant lies and mean, very mean and sneaky fake stories that are spread by foreign media and other propaganda resources.”

They “expos(ed) crimes of the Nazi regime” internally and cross-border.

They know that puppet Zelensky banned opposition political parties.

That he banned free and open expression and media that diverge from the fabricated official narrative.

That he criminalized all things Russia, including use of its language.

He shut down the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate and jailed priests on suspicion of being sympathetic toward Russia.

The US-installed puppet Poroshenko and Zelensky regimes illegitimately by coup d’etat.

Because of Putin’s preeminent stature on the world stage compared to his pigmy US/Western counterparts — caricatures of leadership, devoid of the real thing — MSM invent reasons to vilify him.

They falsely accuse Russia of war crimes committed by Ukrainian Nazis — with wholehearted support and encouragement by US/Western regimes.

They assault Russia, and Putin personally, with a daily blitzkrieg of bald-faced Big Lies — ignoring how hegemon USA, its Western vassals and Nazi-infested Ukraine operate.

Separately on Tuesday, the Dem-controlled House Foreign Affairs Committee rejected a GOP measure to exercise oversight by auditing US military and economic aid to Ukrainian Nazis.

According to GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, when Republicans take control of the House in January, “(t)his audit will happen.”

While Greene and dozens of other Republicans oppose endless billions poured down a black hole of waste, fraud and abuse in support of Ukrainian Nazis, most Republicans and virtually all undemocratic Dem back perpetual war on Russia with expendable regime foot soldiers.

Russia’s SMO will end when its publicly stated aims are achieved.

At that time, Ukraine in rump form alone will exist.

Its industrial east and richest agricultural land are gone.

The vast majority of people in Donbass, Kherson, Kharkov and Zaporozhye voted to join Russia.

They want no part of returning to the scourge of Nazified control.

The Tool of Tools

“The DNC and Biden Team knew they had friends at Twitter who would do their bidding during the election. And Twitter lied to the FEC about that influence…. But that’s just at the surface….” —TechnoFog on Substack

At what point in his arduous take-over of Twitter did Elon Musk realize that the package came with a joker in the deck: James A. Baker, formerly general counsel of the FBI? Did he wonder: what is this guy doing here? Were there any conversations between the two? Or did Mr. Musk just quietly observe his presence at a remove in nervous wonder, as one might, say, upon discovering a scorpion in the corner of his hotel room?

Mr. Baker, you understand, was notoriously at the center of the FBI’s FISA court fuckery that got the ball rolling in the Crossfire Hurricane operation, Act One of RussiaGate, as well as the Alfa Bank caper concocted by Hillary Clinton (disclosed this year by special counsel John Durham), and probably every other sedition pie the FBI cooked in its oven in those years, considering Mr. Baker’s position as chief legal advisor to Director Chris Wray. When the alt-news media caught onto Mr. Baker’s nefarious activities, he became inconvenient to the agency, was re-assigned to some nebulous task (polishing Mr. Wray’s cuff links?), and quit in May, 2018. He landed temporarily — or was he, rather, parked out-of-sight? — at the shadowy R Street Institute, an Intel Community cut-out, one of its countless PR channels in the DC Swamp.

But then, mysteriously, Mr. Baker got hired by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in June of 2020 — the heat of a presidential election — to work under Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s general counsel (and chief of “legal, policy, and trust” [ha!]), where he remained until just the other day. Is it a stretch to imagine Mr. Baker’s former employer, the FBI — which, let’s face it, operates as a sort of blood-brotherhood — purposely installed Mr. Baker in that sensitive job at Twitter to help “moderate” the national conversation in the central forum that public debate had moved to in our time?

If so, he apparently did a crackerjack job, and just at the right time, too, after the FBI discovered, in emails they ripped off Rudolph Giuliani’s purloined cloud account, that Donald Trump’s attorney possessed of a copy of the laptop hard-drive of one Hunter Biden, son of presidential candidate Joe Biden — said computer (the FBI knew full-well by then) being stuffed not just with pornographic photos of crack orgies and other personal infelicities, but also a trove of emails and deal memos laying out a bribery and money-laundering scheme that the younger Biden was running all over Eurasia as a family business.

Of course, the FBI had that selfsame computer in its possession for the better part of a year when The New York Post broke the news of its existence days before the election of 2020. In fact, the Bureau had had possession at the very time that Mr. Trump was busy getting impeached for daring to suggest to Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, that the Bidens were involved in some shady business worth investigating with the Kiev-based Burisma gas company. Evidence of that and much much more — including way-bigger shady deals with CCP cut-outs — lay moldering in the laptop the FBI just silently sat on. Isn’t it a little strange that during the dragged-out impeachment ordeal neither Attorney General William Barr nor FBI chief Chris Wray volunteered to Mr. Trump’s legal defense that they held exculpatory evidence on that laptop for the very thing he was impeached on?

That was January, 2020, many months before The New York Post took the laptop’s existence public. And whaddaya know… by June of that year, James A. Baker was in place at Twitter, ready to serve! As election day approached, he apparently succeeded in stifling transmission of the Post’s laptop story plus any-and-all conversation about it in the Twitterverse, and was careful not to leave a memo trail of his heroic interventions. Do you suppose he might have had some conversations about all that with his old colleagues at the FBI? At the same time, you understand, the FBI was leaning successfully on that other social network giant, Facebook, to likewise smother the laptop story. And Google, too, having become an Intel Community tool, was avid to tailor its search algorithms to steer the curious away from Hunter’s laptop. And so was fortune’s fool Joe Biden inserted into history….

Amazingly, after all that huggermugger, James A. Baker still remained in place last week at Twitter — even as his putative boss, censor-in-chief, Vijaya Gadde, got drop-kicked out the door — just as Elon Musk prepared to release a trove of information detailing Twitter’s censorship activities of recent years. Yes! And, evidently, Mr. Baker functioned as a sort of one-man clearing house for all the documents getting shoveled to independent reporter Matt Taibbi, whom Mr. Musk had designated to be the news conduit for these awaited revelations. And, yes, there is every reason to suspect that Mr. Baker censored, or perhaps even tried to destroy, the very documents that Mr. Musk ordered released.

Was that not like leaving a wolverine in Twitter’s henhouse? How could Mr. Musk not know how absurd it was for Mr. Baker to moderate that release? Well, the chatter is that Mr. Musk was seeking a way to encourage Mr. Baker to inculpate himself, so as to foreclose any lawsuits he might think to bring against Twitter for wrongful termination. I have to say, Mr. Musk would be an idiot if he did not have copies of the server that James Baker had access to and had the opportunity to delete stuff from. I guess we’ll find out.

But there is one other matter that has been left out of all the sound and fury about the Twitter doc release: the meta story of the US government’s rogue agencies’ greater war against the public interest. Not just the Intel Community but all the public health agencies under the Department of Health and Human Services: the FDA, CDC, NIAID, NIH, and more.

Consider that James A. Baker — formerly the FBI’s consigliere— was in that job at Twitter most of the time that Covid-19 was raging across the land. How much did he have to say about censoring the life-and-death information surrounding the pandemic? Did he stifle debate about the early treatment medications — ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D, etc. — that could have saved many thousands of lives otherwise sacrificed to the medical establishment’s Moloch of intubation-and-remdesivir?

Did he advise the blackballing, silencing, and cancellation of doctors who opposed Dr. Fauci’s regime of lockdowns, masks, and “vaccines”? Did he prevent the public from learning how ineffective and harmful the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA shots are? Did he help promote every government-sponsored untruth about Covid-19, meaning just about everything public officials have uttered about it for three years? Did he, in sum, in his machinations at Twitter, so pervert the national conversation through an epic crisis that he has contributed to the collapsing US economy and a genocide-like campaign against the people of this country? I think he probably did. That’s how serious this matter is.
