Human Rights Discarded at the Gates of Hell

The following is an excerpt from Dr. Ramesh Thakur’s book, Our Enemy, the Government: How Covid Enabled the Expansion and Abuse of State Power.

Dr Chris Williams, of Public Health Wales, solemnly told the BBC: “Every time you stop and talk to someone… then you’ve just had a potential transmission event.” Part of “the problem,” he added, is that “we don’t see that as a bad activity.”

This is beyond “You couldn’t make it up.” What next—breathing is a potential transmission event and we should all stop it, just stop it?

Six months into the pandemic, the president of the Australian Human Rights Commission Rosalind Croucher finally voiced her opinion of lockdowns. Because of the lack of scrutiny and accountability around lockdowns, she said, Australians have been exposed to “potentially unnecessary restrictions of their rights and freedoms.”

A good lawyer, Croucher has concerns about process. To be fair, she did point out that the commission’s jurisdiction was limited to the federal government’s actions and so she was able to voice concern about entry and exit travel rules that prevented families from being reunited.

Still: “potentially unnecessary” infringements? This was her epiphany? Put under 23-hour house arrest, limited to 5 kilometre-radius outings for state-approved activities and purposes, mandatory mask requirement, rights to peaceful protest suspended, pervasive police surveillance of social media and public spaces, state control of economic activities, suspension of parliament to rule by executive diktat, instant heavy fines on police officers’ whims, martial law masquerading as medical law: how comforting to learn these are all potential infringements.

No offence to my many friends in the law professoriate, but I’ve often wondered about the wisdom of appointing legal academics to positions of human rights chiefs without some broader background and experience. They are, I am sure, supremely qualified in the legal technicalities and niceties. Some training in moral philosophy underpinning Western civilisation would help them to balance competing pulls of the many different streams that make up the total human rights bandwidth.

Human rights claims are claims by citizens on governments. The advocacy, juridical, and enforcement revolutions in human rights led to a rapid expansion of governmental activism on legislation backed by monitoring and compliance machinery. Yet human rights are also abused most systematically, pervasively and widely by governments.

There’s also tension between the human rights and anti-discrimination agendas, as in the case of the Queensland University of Technology students. Instead of being given an answer—like me, you don’t have to accept the merits of the answer to acknowledge that there is a broad philosophical case for affirmative action—the full weight of the state was brought to bear, in the form of the human rights machinery, to crush the pesky students.

A related tension, and possibly most relevant to the pandemic, is the clash between individual and collective rights. In the name of ensuring the safe health of everyone, governments have trampled willy-nilly on previously inviolate individual rights.

Lockdowns don’t destroy the virus. No, they destroy the three “ls” of lives, livelihoods, and liberties. Governments have effectively stolen a year of our life. Preemptive press self-censorship has helped to normalise the rise of the surveillance-cum-security state in the name of keeping us safe from terrorists and now from the virus that is so deadly, hundreds of millions must be tested to know they’ve had it.

On 21 October, despite a modest rise in Covid cases, Sweden lifted all remaining “recommended” restrictions on over-70s. The justification was not economic but emotional health. Health Minister Lena Hallengren explained: “We cannot only think about infection control, we also need to think about public health.” Months of social isolation had meant loneliness and misery and a “decline in mental health likely to worsen the longer the recommendations remain in place.”

Part of the emotional stress load on the elderly caused by lockdowns results from the destruction of family life. The family is the fundamental unit of human society and the forced separation of loved ones has taken an enormous toll on mental well-being, with measurable consequences for physical health.

From the UK we’ve had stories of elderly people refusing to go into rest homes. They’d rather die in pain surrounded by family at home, than face a lonely death cut off completely from family after leaving home. The inscription on The Gates of Hell in Dante’s Inferno—“Abandon hope, all ye who enter”—was not meant as a forewarning of care homes 700 years later.

The boundary between liberal democracy and draconian dictatorship proved to be virus thin. A Freedom House report concluded that in 80 countries, the pandemic has emboldened governments to engage in abuses of power: “silencing their critics, and weakening or shuttering important institutions, often undermining the very systems of accountability needed to protect public health.”

For me the defining image of the pandemic state of siege in Australia will remain the case of Zoe Buhler. The police were actively monitoring social media posts. One Facebook post encouraged people to join a peaceful protest in Ballarat in regional Victoria, a long way away from metropolitan Melbourne as the Covid cluster, while observing all social distancing and mask-wearing guidance. In response cops entered a private house, arrested and handcuffed a pregnant young woman, still in her pyjamas, in the presence of her young child, all the while ignoring her frightened promises to take the post off that she hadn’t realised was forbidden.

The episode is the very definition of a police state. Having crossed that Rubicon, how do we walk Australia back? A good start would be criminal prosecution of cops executing dictatorial edicts and of the officers and ministers authorising such action. “Potentially unnecessary” infringements of our most fundamental human rights? Author shakes head as he exits stage left.

Israel-Palestine War: The Big Picture.

This Interview with Mike Adams, Brighteon Broadcast News (BBN) on the Israel-Palestine Conflict and Beyond is followed by a loose transcript of the key points of the interview.

Some “experts” say with full conviction Hamas is winning this war.

They base it on Hamas having achieved a ceasefire which they consider is already a “win”. And then they said getting Israel to accept a 2-day extension is a further sign of Hamas upper-hand.

That is just wishful thinking. An illusion at best. It would be desirable. But, with Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) armed to the teeth with western — mostly US — state-of-the-art weapons, plus top secret service advice from Mossad, CIA and UK’s MI6 (Military Intelligence, section six), such ideas are way detached from reality.

Background

First, in this, like in most other wars, there is no winner. There are only losers.

Second, instead of dividing the world in pro or con the one or the other warrying party, the typical “divide to conquer” propaganda, we should all vouch for PEACE.

Having said this, it is undeniable that Palestine has lived through some kind of a “Holocaust” for the last 75 years, since the creation of Israel in 1948 – sponsored by the UK, in connivance with the then brand-new UN, backed by the US.

The UN, created in 1945, had only 51 member countries, and was then already under full control of the “top winner” of WWII, the USA.

The Israeli crackdown on Palestine became even more severe when, on June 5, 1967, Israel launched an attack against Egyptian forces in response to Egypt’s closing of the Suez Canal for Israeli shipping. Jordan and Syria joined the conflict.

By June 11, Israel defeated all three and occupied the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. The United States pressed for a ceasefire to prevent the risk of a Soviet intervention. See this.

This was the beginning of Palestine’s – especially Gaza’s – colonization.

The next step and further repression of Palestine followed the Yom Kippur War in October 1973 – against Egypt and Syria. It lasted a mere 20 days.

From then forward, the oppression mounted year by year to the point where in January 2006, Hamas won democratic elections in Palestine with 74 of the 132 seats, while Fatah, the then ruling party trailed with 45.

Fatah was the former Palestine Liberation Movement founded and led by Yasser Arafat until his death (by poisoning) in 2004.

When in 2007 Hamas also took over the reins in Gaza, Israel no longer adhered to the earlier agreed ever shakier ceasefire.

Israel then closed the border to Gaza, making Gaza the world’s largest open prison with then close to 2 million inhabitants which grew by 2023 to about 2.3 million.

Up to today, for the last almost 17 years, the border has remained hermetically sealed, surveilled electronically and by hundreds of border guards. Some Israeli guards say that not even a rat could escape undetected.

Living in Gaza was and is hell.

Gaza was and is fully occupied by Israeli military, the people harassed on a daily basis – and as we know, shot often point blank, for no reason. See video below.

This was the situation up to October 7, 2023. Since then, Gaza has been bombed to ashes and almost erased from the map. Close to 2 million people are homeless and, on the move, starving, no clean water, no electricity, no fuel, no means of communication, destroyed infrastructure, hospitals, schools. IDF has either all destroyed or blocked access to vital means of surviving.

There are no words to describe the misery in Gaza.

*

Hamas was created in 1987 by Israel and the US – Ron Paul just recently testified to this effect in the US Congress when he said, “after all we created Hamas and now, we have to get rid of them…”

See below and listen to the end, Rep. Ron Paul (Tx) also reveals openly that the US has recruited and supported Osama Bin Laden and created Al-Qaeda.

Hamas is the Arabic abbreviation for “Islamic Resistance Movement”; Hamas gave the impetus to and led the first Palestine Intifada (“civil uprising”) in 1987, after Israel killed four Palestinians driving to work in a provoked car accident… or so the story goes.

Direction and Purpose of the War

These developments, however, point to a much larger story – to a plan that has been in the making for at least the last 50 to 70 years.

The Three Point Plan that serves the West is part of the Great Reset and Agenda 2030 playbook – and is supposed to lead to the “promised” One World Government run by what might be called the Financial-Military-IT-Media and Pharma (FMIMP) Complex.

From the very beginning, the Zionists behind Israel wanted to dominate not only what they called the ancient homeland, Palestine – which, as Israeli homeland, is historically highly questionable.

Some 3,000 years ago on that greater land of Palestine which also included today’s Jordan – Arabs and (few) Jews lived peacefully together. They lived together in peace and harmony for about 1,600 years when Islam was born in about 610 AD.

Even after this date Israelis and Arabs still lived together for another about 1,400 years in peace, until 1948, when Israel was born. That is when the Zionist-Arab conflict started and was driven by worldwide Zionism and by all those who defended Zionism, including Evangelists.

Zionists have infiltrated western governments, from the United States, Europe to the UK’s Commonwealth States and beyond.

*

Let us start with the first of the Three Points mentioned earlier.

Since the Old Testament, Jews were the “Chosen People” who will eventually live in their “Promised Land” to become Israel.

The Zionist concept of the Chosen People was always intent to expand their territory – Palestine – to “Greater Israel”.

Greater Israel Map

Source: Adda247

Greater Israel – in the planning since the ’60s, and definitely after the Yom Kippur War – would stretch east to comprise parts of Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and, of course Jordan (see map above). This might constitute 30% to 50% of what is today’s Middle East.

As such it would make Israel the owner of a good third (or more) of the world’s hydrocarbon resources, mainly oil and gas. The West needs these resources for economic development – to be able to further sanction Russia and to make sure the New World Order is controlled by the West.

As a parenthesis, the Russian central bank forecasts the 2023 current account surplus at $26 billion; whereas the US national debt is projected for 2023 and more than US$ 33 trillion – as compared to the US GDP of projected US$ 26.5 trillion – a debt-GDP ratio of 124%.

Looking at the real US debt, namely Unfunded Liabilities, they stand at 259 trillion, almost 10-times US GDP. See the US-deb clock for more details.

*

With a planned (though, far from realized) larger, energy resources-rich Israel, the symbiotic relationship between Israel and the West, mainly the US and its western puppets, the European Union, would grow even stronger.

The Second Point is with focus on Gaza.

It is the discovery in 1999 by British Gas (BG) of at least a trillion cubic feet of gas [about 300 billion cubic meters] off-shore of Gaza.

With the Gaza population pushed into Egypt’s Sinai desert where Egypt, in agreement with Israel, has already built a huge tent city – and from where Palestinians would never be allowed to return to their home land, Israel would simply and undisturbed confiscate these Gaza gas fields.

The existence of huge gas deposits was known before 1999. Indications are that the quantities are much larger than a trillion cubic feet. But talking about suspected much larger deposits now would be strategically unwise.

Adding the Gaza gas to the hydrocarbon resources of a Greater Israel would make Israel an even bigger player in the world arena of energy supplier, possibly one of the three largest (Venezuela, Russia, Israel) — sort of really the “Chosen People”.

And the Third Point, not to be neglected, is since the early 1970’s the planned Ben Gurion Canal. It would lead from the Mediterranean Sea either through current Gaza or just outside of Gaza, through Israel / Palestine to the Red Sea. It would be about three-times as long as the Egyptian Suez Canal, competing with the Suez Canal, and be entirely under Western control.

It would be crucial for the presumably undisturbed transport of the Gaza gas and other Western goods, to Asian and Global South markets.

*

The Big Picture

Frankly, chances that this monster plan of a Greater Israel, with the ensuing wars and conflicts will be realized are almost nil, as We, the People, are waking up and can stop the growing tyranny in its tracks.

We may not yet have the masses we would like to see, but dynamics never work out as we, the People foresee them, but rather with a quantum spin which we do not quite comprehend yet – but which eventually will lead to justice.

Is Truth Becoming Valueless?

The United States in the 1940s and 1950s was a far better place than it is today. There was a homogeneous population and, thereby, far more social cohesion. Pre-puberty kids, and everyone else, were far freer than they are today. On weekend days, we disappeared all day on our bikes. There were no cell phones with which to communicate with us. We even biked at night to watch Atlanta Crackers baseball games. Our bikes were always there when the game was over, and we biked home without being captured and sold into child prostitution. Our parents had no cause to worry about us.

For pocket money and to build up savings, we had paper routes. After school we delivered to nearby homes the Atlanta Journal. The Atlanta Constitution was the morning paper, delivered before or as people woke up. It was the breakfast paper that men read before they went off to their jobs. This paper was delivered by grownups. But on Sundays the papers were combined, and they were heavy. We pre-puberty kids had to get up at 4am, collect our heavy newspapers–if you put them in the front basket without stabilizing the bike, the bike would tip over–and after delivering them return home to get ready for Sunday school at church.

On Friday evenings you knocked on the door of your customers and collected 25 cents, a quarter dollar, for the week’s delivery. To cut down collection work, we endeavored to convert weekly payers to monthly payers, which was one dollar. It was difficult, as a dollar was real money, not like today. The point is that no one worried about pre-puberty kids being out delivering newspapers in the early morning dark hours or collecting from their route customers in the evening.

We were raised with the obligation instilled in us to tell the truth. A person who lied was too reprehensible to be associated with or to do business with. This standard, if applied today, would eliminate the entirety of the Western print and TV media, NPR, BBC, and all the rest of the Ministry of Propaganda, and all Western governments, and a large percentage of university faculties, administrators, and public school officials and teachers, who all lie in order to advance evil agendas, such as the demonization of white gentiles, sexual perversion, transgenderism and war.

Today the inroad on truth has reached the point in which Zionist Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people is described as Israel’s right to self-defense, Russia’s rescue of the Donbas Russians is said to be an invasion of Ukraine, and national sovereignty is said to be fascist and racist.

In America and its Western puppet states, there is today no greater crime than to be a truth-teller. Despite habeas corpus and due process enshrined in British law and the US Constitution, Julian Assange has been illegally detained for a decade for telling the truth. Reiner Fuellmich, the Germany attorney, who was about to file charges against the pharmaceutical companies for deaths and injuries from the Covid “vaccine,” was kidnapped in Mexico by the German government and placed in solitary confinement in Germany on obviously false charges in order to prevent the lawsuit. Barry Young, the New Zealand Covid database administrator who released the official data showing that the alleged “vaccine” was a deadly killer, has been arrested for revealing the truth.

Be sure you understand what I am telling you. Those who tell you the truth are being arrested and treated worst than mass murderers. Murder is not a threat to the corrupt ruling establishment, but Truth is.

All truth-tellers have a target on their backs, including me. For reporting accurately on Putin’s hopes for reconciliation with Washington, I was labeled a “Putin agent/dupe.”

This was just the beginning. George Soros, who Elon Musk said “appears to want nothing less than the destruction of Western civilization,” finances “fact checkers” and “verification” sites, the purpose of which is to discredit those who tell the truth. The State Department, the FBI, CIA, Mossad, and any number of government agencies and official organizations in the West work overtime to discredit truth-tellers.

Wikipedia labeled me an “anti-semite” for quoting WW II historian David Irving in a book review. A truth-suppression website–NewsGuard–financed by who?–describes my website, which is read in every country in the world, as “A Conspiracy-oriented website that regularly publishes falsehoods about US election, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, and other issues.”

It is extraordinary that after describing me as a disinformation artist, NewsGuard accurately describes me as an Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury, a presidential appointment which requires confirmation by the US Senate in order to take office, as an editor of the Wall Street Journal, as an author of books published by Harvard University Press and Oxford University Press, highly prestigious publishers who required credibility on the part of their peer-reviewed authors.

So here I stand, with numerous top secret security clearances over many years, confirmed in a presidential appointment by the US Senate, a Wall Street Journal editor, a Business Week columnist for a dozen or more years, an academic at Stanford University and occupant for a dozen years of the William E. Simon Chair for Political Economy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Georgetown University, and all of these front line institutions appointed a “conspiracy theorist.”

I have the French Legion of Honor signed by French President Mitterrand, the US Treasury’s Meritorious Service Award, the US Treasury’s Silver Medal, the International Journalism Award from the Press Club of Mexico.  I have been in Who’s Who In America and Who Who’s in the World for decades.  I have Who’s Who in America’s Lifetime Achievement Award. I have been on boards of multi-billion dollar financial and manufacturing institutions.  I have been an adviser to J.P. Morgan Guaranty Trust and other large money managers. I have endless endorsements from distinguished Americans. And a dismal unverified hired gun organization called NewsGuard declares the entire journalistic, academic, business, and political establishment to have appointed a “conspiracy theorist” to the highest positions in the society.

No, I am not bragging on myself. I am pointing out that NewsGuard has no shame. The organization declares a truth-teller who has the highest honors to be a liar.

Every corrupt, evil, material interest has money to demonize the truth. NewsGuard is one of their operatives. These are people devoid of integrity, but these sorts of sites are plentiful online, and given the insouciance of the American people, these sites might  have more influence than truth-tellers.

It raises the questions: can truth prevail when endless money can shout truth down? Can truth survive when people show scant interest in supporting truth and those who tell it?

If you look objectively with open eyes at the news and at the indoctrination that passes for education, you will see that you live in a world of lies constructed by official narratives. Throughout the Western world police powers are being used to enforce the official narratives–every one of which is a lie.

Think about what this means for science and scholarship when Big Pharma-paid shills can shout down and discredit honest independent scientists, when educators can turn fiction into fact and fact into lies, when we live in Orwell’s world where Newspeak and Doublethink prevail: “War is peace,” “Freedom is slavery,” “Ignorance is strength.”

Many misinterpret 1984 as a warning against Stalinism and Nazism, but George Orwell was predicting the future of the Western world. That future is here.

Stand with me or soon you will find that you cannot stand at all.
